Invisible IP Map is a program which ensures browsing security and anonymity. It makes extensive use of proxy servers to give you a sense of security when you are browsing. The application provides a list of available proxy servers to which you can connect. The list of servers shows a bit of information about each server, like IP address, Country, Region, City, Type, and Speed (measured in seconds, which is rather useless). By simply double-clicking on one of them, you instruct Invisible IP Map to configure your computer to tunnel HTTP requests through that proxy.
In practice, I tried the program with an US server, and it worked like a charm out of the box. It was kind of slow, though. When I ran a trace on my proxy server it showed that it belonged to a Comcast cable user.
Now, the application's name means something. In the main window, there is a graphic representation of the Earth. Whenever you fetch new servers, dots will appear on the map. A red dot will represent your physical location, while green dots represent available proxies. Every time you push the fetch button new servers will appear, which makes me wonder why they don't all appear at once, so I don't have to perform that repetitive task. Perhaps because the demo limits the amount of servers to be fetched at once? All in all, the application does what it advertises. Overall proxy speed is a little slow, though.
